MLB 2K11 LEAGUE RULES

First and foremost thank you for joining Main Event Sports MLB 2K11 League. I really hope you have a good time being a part of this league. If any of you need anything regarding this league then please let me know and I will do what I can to help you out. There are a few rules that I would like all of you to follow so that we can make this league run smoothly

CONSOLES: This league will be on the X-Box 360 system.

RULE #1: No cheating, No exploiting. As any game I am sure there are ways to cheat to win and have a way to defeat your opponent when your opponent just wants good competition win or lose. Don’t cheat what is the point? I will never understand it I mean while your sitting in your house all alone and you have a 100-0 record in a game because you cheat for all of those wins, I don’t understand how that makes you feel good. With that in mind I am going to need all of you to be the police in this matter. If someone signs up for the league and exploits the game I would like to know about it. If multiple people speak up then I can get rid of that player.

RULE #2: I would like if you sign up to be a part of this league by posting on the forums, checking out other leagues for you to maybe join, but mostly to play the game. I don’t want people to join up and not participate. I am going to try to keep getting new members to keep the league fresh.

RULES #3: Regarding conduct, I would like everyone to be professional and treat everyone with respect. This league will have people of all ages and maturity levels. If you act out of line to one of the other members then you will be quickly removed no questions asked. It is a game it is supposed to be fun this site is for the casual baseball game fan to have a hub to where they can find fun internet matchups.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Once a week I will post a game matchup for everyone in the league, you can play the game or you don’t have to and you can choose your own baseball game against anyone in the league if you would like and it will count the same. Now I understand that you have other things to do and may not be able to make your scheduled game that week that’s fine. You will however need to have a game at least once every three weeks. If you do not play a game against another member of the league for three straight weeks then you will be removed from the league unless you tell me that you won’t be able to play for three weeks. As you can see it is really easy to stay a part of this league.

ONLINE LEAGUES: If you would like to start a online league with members of this league then be my guess. The reason why the league will not host one is because of the high failure rate that online leagues have and how much trouble it is to find 30 members that will play constantly. With the way the rules of playing in this league is when a player stops playing the team he controls will become free and someone else will be allowed to play with that team and the league doesn't have to wait for the new guy. I just think its easier that way. On that note though I will run a online league for anyone that wants to play in an online league which will count towards this league.
